NFS-VltEd v4.1 Released
What's new in 4.1:
- More than 1k new hashes have been added, here is the example:
- NFS World Alpha & Beta are supported now
- BUGFIX: the VerbalType field is not handled as hex value
- BUGFIX: in some scenarios the game could crash after deletion and addition of nodes
- BUGFIX: new nodes with the same name added to different classes cause unexpected game behaviour
- BUGFIX: (NFS Undercover) not correct values in frontend/customization/vinyl_group after saving
- BUGFIX: the game crashes when node uses a vault name which already exists in different file than gameplay.bin.lzc
- BUGFIX: some hashes are missing comparing to the version 3.1
- BUGFIX: the Hash64 field is not handled as hex value
- BUGFIX: (NFS: ProStreet and Undercover) data loss causes the following issues in ProStreet: - cars are totaled on slight contact
- engine audio problems - on deceleration, you can properly hear the shifting sound, but the engine sound tends to disappear either sometimes or completely while decelerating
It is recommended to restore original game files. To achieve that do the following steps:
- In NFS-VltEd, on the Game menu, click Restore backups.
- In the confirmation dialog click Yes.
Hello! I just wanted to ask really quickly if it is possible to load new vehicle models in the game? And if so, how could I go about doing it? I would really love to know this. Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteyes it's possible but except VLT database some other files must be modified too in order to add a new car. GlobalB.bun is one of those files. I am creating a tool that allows to edit this file. https://goo.gl/photos/DMvR2Vc1SeYHtLC89

When I mod the game, all cars (in game) turn black.
This bug wasn't exist on VL-TED 2.1,

Hi, I found a bug in VltEd, when I was modding NFSMW. Every time I'm saving changes, modified "attributes.bin" causes game to think that saves are corrupted, despite I only modifed gameplay node. Restoring original "attributes.bin" file fixes save problem.

DeleteGame think that the save is corrupted. I always have to make a new profile...
Make sure you have Restored the original before editing the Game. I think it was cause by the bugs in the older version. I encountered those things before.

DeleteHey, nfsu360! Is there any possibility to add to the addons a functional damaged parts (such as hoods, bumpers and etc.) like it was on a cop cars in Most Wanted, when your tools will be released?

ReplyDeleteGreeveX tools are useless , any performance modification / drivetrain swap ( RWD , FWD and AWD ) doesn't take any effect until you equip the car at stage 3

ReplyDeleteWould it be possible to re-add back the fields Hash32 and Hash64 in the Model section that appears in pvehicle? Now it's only possible to change the name of the folder that is being loaded in the game and the two aforementioned fields get automatically hashed, but this causes a problem as these are collision hashes and if they don't exist within the game, it will crash as soon as the model is brought in the game world.

You can do this in Prostreet, but if you try in MW or Carbon it will say "array out of bounds" when trying to add more than 9.
DeleteTry to resize the fields by typing the command "resize_field transmission "car" GEAR_RATIO 9" or click on the nodes and press CTRL+Z and change the GEAR_RATIO's count to 9 so it could add 1 more gear
DeleteI guess it isn't possible because you cant raise the maximum count in a base field yet.
